cuz momma had bigger plans for him
built a great big house atop
of an empty graveyard
and all the ghosts n satanic spells
were made quiet by the ringing of church bells
in an old factory

what about the birdhouses?????
broken n haunted
lying in the backyard
what about the babybirds???
hungry and tired
scared to be in the backyard

autumn came to tinseltown a little later than remembered
leaving petals strewn across the yards
the songs of the harvest were sung just a little big quieter
and all the people in the know makin arrangements for the old folks n their homes

all the leaves
are falling from the trees
the children are all jumping in
all the leaves came falling off the trees
they never saw it comin in
all the leaves came fallin off the trees
they never saw it comin, never saw it rolling in

there is only one place i'd like to be
in this great big world....
